    Trailer surge brake coupler

I’ve got a 2006 Skeeter I-class with an EZLoader trailer. My brakes quit working and I think the coupler is bad. I’m planning on replacing the calipers and pads. Figured I probably should replace the coupler. Does anyone know which one I need. I believe I need the UFP A-60 Inner member with disc brakes. Anyone with experience with please let me know.

Be sure to also check the brake lines thoroughly to see if they have rusted through anywhere. Once a line rusts through and lets the fluid out, the UFP A-60 will be clunky since it no longer has any brake pressure to push against. Also, while you've got the system open, check the brake calipers to ensure they still move freely and aren't rusted/seized. Personally, I just replace the entire brake system when one part goes bad so I don't have to worry about it again for a few years.
