    About to jink myself

But it’s hard to beat an XR6. May not be very quiet or idle real smooth, but I’ve never had an issue with her. 2003. Lord only knows how many hours.

When I bought my first new bass boat, 1992, first thing I had done before I took it off the lot was to replace the 150 EFI with an XR6. Dealer asked me "why?" I said "lots of reasons. 2.5 vs 2.0 liter block, carbs that I know how to rebuild blindfolded vs the special tools needed to work on the EFI electronics." That motor ran forever. Remove that stupid idle advance module and it will run even better.
