Twin tail grubs vs craws

Yamamoto has a lot of salt. I also like chompers. I use em as trailers. But also alone. Twin tail grub on a small hook Carolina rigged is pretty good at catching bass all by itself.

I like either yamo or choppers twin tail on my football heads, either in green amber or pumpkin green, never have caught a fish on a black/blue combo on a football head.

So i just started messing with twin tails cuz I got a buddy who hooked me up with a few. So take my words with a grain of salt cuz im no expert on the matter...just telling you my observation for how I see them. I use mostly rage craws or speed craws. I kinda see those as bulky baits...where the twin tail grub is more a finesse bait in my eyes. So whenever I wanna go a little more finesse, I go with a grub and whenever I want bulk, noise and things like that ill throw on a rage craw.

Rage craws and UV Speed craws are two of my favorites.

Yamamoto Twin tails were a staple for Ike on jigs from early on. The action is better than claws.

Use the Zoom as a jig trailer...I like the action. Never have used the Yamamoto.
