Nice. Wonder if they can do this on the fiberglass boats? I'm sick of carpet.

Nice. Those Xpress boats look great with it too. Wonder how durable it really is and how it shows dirt and wear over time.

Looks great mate. I do question the durability of it.

So do they have a template or did you have to send them measurements?

A padded front and rear deck would be pretty nice I imagine.

    Dare I ask on cost?

I think that's what they use on the center lid on their glass boats.

Crazy good look , I tried to get Vexus to offer Sea Deck when I first started looking at the AVX models. Looks like SeaDeck has the Vexus measurements now.

It looks great! How does it feel when fishing compared to carpet though?

I made custom templets and sent them to them. They didn’t have any on file

Not sure I would run without some sort of protection under my rods on the deck..... I would think eventually the hard surface would not play well with reels and rod finish.

SeaDek is padded. It would absorb the shock better than carpet while running.

In the photo, it appears the deck lids in the center and step are seadeck but the rest of the front deck is a poly floor. Am I seeing that wring? Thus if the sides of the deck are painted vs Seadeck you have a hard surface to lay rods on.

Ahhh...my bad. Thought you were referencing the SD. I agree with you the poly floor, however if I lived in LA etc, I would have a poly floor also. Much easier to clean. But for me I would like the carpet and SD.

Sea-Dek is an option if you go on the Vexus build now on the web site.

Is there a graphic online, Vexus web site or elsewhere, of the SeaDek option installed on a 1880 that is available as a build option? Also, is it available as an after built option if a poly owner wanted to install it later? And not the new Black Widow. Sorry, but I’m not much for spiders.

I did mine before Vexus was doing any Sea Dek. I had to measure and make my own templates and get them made at SeaDek

It is available as a build option on the 1880 for sure. If you wanted to install it later I'm sure you could order it from Vexus or Seadek
