    2001 225 vmax 066 cut out problems

Went fishing Friday and the motor started acting up..... From an idle to WOT, it started to basically rev up then die, rev up then die, rev up then die etc. I thought bad gas at first because I got it up and it ran on time. As the day went on, it kept doing it. The only time it would not do it bad is when I would gradually bring the boat up on pad.... I did a tune up when I first got the boat/motor in 2012 (have not put many hours on it sadly) which including changing the vst filter. I am leaning towards pumps and will prob do the blow test tomorrow, but any advice will be appreciated with this.

    Thanks

That’s where I’d start if I still had LP pumps.

Yeah... I figure the low pumps are for getting up in the rpm band and the high pump is to keep you there..... Just a guess. 36.00 on amazon for one.... Will change all three for that!!!

Still going to test them though

    Thanks
