I had an 01 with a 300 ran a hydromotive xob 29 at 1.25 above the pad to fish with.

Which gear ratio?
I run 1.5 above with 1.62s...my favorite 2 props are a 28 Hydro Q4XOB, Ol 28 Bravo1 dual holes

What Crank68 said. You will not find a better all around prop for your set than the 28 Hydromotive Q4XOB.
