Lake Oconee

Anyone been on Lake Oconee lately. Gonna be there Sept 12 & 13. Hows the lake been??

Billy get with Pops, he lives there. He fished with Splash at the border bash at the 72 ramp at Russell.

The only time I've ever been on that lake was a couple years ago when I bought a boat from the guys at Oconee Marine. I've always heard a spinnerbait was good down there.

Haven't been in a while, flipping docks as always I 'd expect to be your best bet. You finhing mornings or at night?

Right now our schedule will be full day Sat, all nighter and fish until noon on Sunday. Loooong weekend...

You know about the hump out in front of the golf course - always check it
If looking at the golf course try the left side - look for the creek -
If in Sugar Creek - were it turns right (splits) graph the right split - look right up next to the old timber line - as always docks.....fishing is better if water is moving.
If night fishing hit docks with lights and sea walls with lights

Did have a lake house on Sugar Creek......family sold it couple years ago.
I live in newnan so west point is only 45 min away.
Only fished Sinclair as a boy (maybe 20 years ago).
Not that good at fishing but will try anything more then once.....Haha
