    Chippewa bay

Heading up next sat. How are the launches, and water levels? Do they still have the 1000 ft speed limit? And most importantly since we haven't been to the islands in forever, and never this time of year, what patterns?

Yes water is still high and has a 1000ft no wake zone from shore. Last I heard the French Creek marina In Clayton was so high the water was almost above the wall. Spawn is about over and fish are in transition

Bass are still shallow. All the smallies we've caught are in 6-12 feet. Every Largemouth in 4 ft or less.

Update tonight, caught three 4 pounders, one 5, and two back to back 6s. All caught with a Ned rig in 12 feet, except one fishing for Largemouth with a swim jig in 3 ft. We wasted alot of time out deep.
