    ProTec question

I am going to do a maintenance coat of ProTec sealer/polish. Im removing it with my buffer. Should i use a black pad, a white pad, or does it need the heat of the wool pad?

I have always used a terry cloth pad to remove, wool is for cutting. To install I use a red pad. But I am no expert...

why do you feel you need to remove the seal coat that's on it? Are you talking about the compound/polish coat that is applied with a buffer or the seal coat that is applied by hand?

Put it on by hand with micro fiber applicator and take off with a micro fiber towel. If applying by machine, use a DA with a finishing pad, load the outside edges of pad. Remove with a microfiber bonnet.
