    Lowrance Trolling Motor

    I'm certainly thinking about getting the new Lowrance trolling motor after it comes out. I sure hope Lowrance was smart enough to make the mounting holes in the same spots as Minn Kota. I'd hate to have to drill new holes.

    The mounting bracket has the same hole pattern as the minnkota ultrex/fortrex and a motor guide tour. It is double drilled.

    I’ve got a new boat coming in about a month, will the new trolling motor be out in time for me to buy it or am I going to have to go with the Ultrex? Also does anyone know if it will have spot lock? And will it have a built in transducer like the Ultrex to hook up with my HDS 12?

    I don't know any of your answers, but I am doubting it will be out in time to be installed on your new boat. It might be close enough to get delivery without a TM and get it installed soon after. If Lowrance has spent all this money coming out with a trolling motor and it does not have spot lock and ability to hook with their units with at least 2d and DI, then multiple people should be fired.
