Any one running Lithium Cranking batteries witha Merc Optimax 250 ProXS?

Thinking of upgrading all batteries (including cranking battery) to lithium. The cranking battery that I am looking at is the 125ah Ionic Lithium battery.

Is there anything that I should be concerned about in using a lithium battery with the Merc 250 ProXS Optimax?

I've been using a ReLion 100ah on my 2013 250 ProXS since 2016 without issue. Make sure the charger is profiled for that particular battery as I had to send my Dual Pro back to get re-profiled.

Please be sure to take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and provide the Required Info when posting. Thanks!

If a lithium with ample capacity (and suitable charger) are within your budget, there is no reason you can't use them for a Mechanical-Shift OPTIMAX engine product.

Make sure if you get a Relion 100 series battery, it is a Relion 100HP. BIG difference between the two
