When purchasing a new boat is there any wiggle room

or is their price THE price? I know it’s not like a car but just wondering if the prices I see posted are what it’s essentially gonna be? Or can you talk them down some? Thanks

I went through my local dealer in 2017 that ordered my boat directly from ranger the way I wanted. I got the price down quite a bit from the site quote.

On some manufacturers, yes there is. On some, no. I shopped my Ranger boat with two dealers that were within a reasonable drive. One was three thousand cheaper than the other. On the other hand, Tracker publishes a sale price and I think they are pretty firm on the listed price.

Also, pretty soon you will have some leftover last year models on the lot with the new ones coming out. You can find a deal on them too.

What brand of boat? Is it a national advertised deal or msrp?

No wiggle room at all with Tracker, their price is THEIR price. I tried three different dealers and got the same deal.

    Wiggle room - YES

I bought my '18 RT198p in Sept '17 and they came down a decent amount from the price I worked up on the web-site. They deal in volume, similar to certain Auto dealers.

Tracker pricing is firm and nationally advertised pricing is firm. High volume dealers can wiggle more than low volume dealers.
