    Buying a boat that has one,what gas and do yall run any additives in the fuel,thanks

    150 SHO requires 87 octane (regular) fuel. Also get some Yamaha Ring Free plus. Run 1oz of Ring Free plus per 10 gallons of fuel. Simple and not too expensive.

    Just bought a new skeeter with a 150 sho and I believe they recommend 89 octane

    From the Yamaha website, the F150 can run on 87 octane. 89 octane is specified for the SHO 150.
