I'm not sure which gen talons I have and want to know if the foot pedal control will work with them? My generation does not ha e the work lights on top. is it still possible to ha e a bow mount?

Look for the serial number. Newer models S/N is below the case. Older model the S/N is at the top opposite the case. No not all foot pedals work with tallon. Only Minn Kota Foot Pedal work with it. Older models foot pedal will not work with new models. Talon just like power pole are mount on the transom not the bow. If it were mount it would not last long. No support.
If you don't have the work light then you have the non blue tooth version. That is the foot pedal everyone is looking for. They come up every one in a while. When they do jump on it.

I have no idea what model you have but you should be able to find out what type foot remote your Talons needs based on the Talon model number. I would write down the model number and give Minn Kota a call and ask what foot remote works with your particular model talon. If it is the older style foot remote that is no longer in production it will be hard to find. Every once in awhile one will pop up here at BBC in the for sale forum or on ebay and they sell quick. If the new style foot remote will work on your particular model then it can be found just about anyplace that sells talon product.
