    Line type, bass fishing?

Coming up to the mitten this week and wondering with the lakes being more clear compared to here in Florida murky/stained, should I use flouro/mono/braid? I'm only bringing 2 rods, my frog rod and a multi use rod, 7ft MH for worms, etc.... any tips on colors, lures, etc? Going to be in clare county for a few days and then near lake Erie in monroe county for the remainder.
    Thanks

Lot's of different water in Michigan. I would probably go one flouro and one braid. You can always tie a leader on your braid rod.

Keep it simple, Green Pumpkin in Michigan is pretty much impossible to beat. Everything is getting to summer mode now, so stick worms and topwaters are good options for a start. Throw a tube if you get on Erie.

unless you are flipping docks, just run braid. It's been so wet this year lots of the lakes are not as clear as they should be.

Any thing green pumpkin + bluegill cranks/swim baits.

I run 7# sunline sniper floro leader on my rods in the traverse City area. You can get by with 10# floro but visibility is 25’ in GT bay.
