    ZX200 four blade prop

Is anyone running a 4-blade prop that they're really happy with and how does it compare to the "standard" SHO prop? pse and thanks

I have a 2013 Skeeter ZX200 and repowered with a new SHO200, and added dual power poles and a hydro jack plate. I reinstalled my Yamaha T1 25p prop and immediately had porpoising issues, slow hole shot, and loss off top end. So I decided to try a 4 blade prop for better lift and bow control. I found a gentleman on here selling a...22” Solas L4 Pro, 9577-150-22, 15x22

It fixed many of my issues and got me back to near original top speed with the additional weight and wind drag. I’m happy. I also added a foil and that really helped too. Both were good decisions for me.

thanks for the info. I'm considering a Razor 4...looking for improvement at lower speeds on plane (30mph) to reduce porpoising.

The SHO likes big diameter props, so stick to something close to the diameter of the T1 and T2 props. The 4 blade helped me with on plane speeds.

I never got a chance to run it on my Iclass but the Fury 4 runs great with the SHO on my Phoenix. The smaller 14.5" diameter doesn't seem to bother it at all. In fact I noticed that Croxton is now also selling a smaller diameter version of his Razor (X vs XL).

Yes, i emailed Mark and he suggested the Razor 4, which is also 14.5" diameter I think. I'm not sure if there's any other difference from the Razor XL. I'm guessing they're both 4.75" hub and I'd have to plug the vent holes for use on SHO??

The regular Razor XL is the larger diameter like the stock T1 and T2 props from Yamaha. You would plug all the vent holes barring advice from Mark to the contrary.
