    26 promax vs trophy plus

    Hey guys,
need some advice before I go out and buy a promax

been using a 26” trophy on a 300xs but with full load I only get 5800rpm

what does the 26” promax run rpm wise compared to a trophy plus?

    Thanks

I think you will want a 25P ProMax

The Promax was a weird prop for me. I ran it on a 300xs also but a 27p. It would spin up to 4500rpm no matter what i did before it would bite. I sold it and went with a 29p Bravo xs and couldnt be happier. Like the others said it does run a bit stiff compared to a Trophy.

You probably needed to run a cav ring on it to keep it from venting too much. I had the same problem with mine when I first got it, it would stand the bow up and spin to 5000 until you let off the throttle.

i think the promax prop is designed for really fast boats, like 75 mph plus with light loads. they dont seem perform well for general use. i bought a so mylas S3 new super bow lift 15.25 dia heavy cup and huge rake. 26p pushes my powercat 80 gps. half $ of merc prop!
