For my lipless baits, I like the 40# braid all the way to the bait and I fish grass mostly when I'm on a bite.

I'm gonna try it on my Javelin this weekend, and see how it works out. I'm converting lots of rods to MB. If that does not work, the 765CB may be the way I go on it. Will likely have to go thru some grass more times than not (not super heavy). You guys who own Javelins and 765's feel like that's enough rod for grass situations?

If you're using braid on your lipless cranks in the grass, the Javelin is plenty of rod to do the job. I've used it with lipless in grass quite a bit with success.

Got a 765 coming. Either that or the Javelin will be for Traps. I'll test that and the Javelin. The other will be for 6 XD's.
