I have been tossing around buying a new Chevy 2500 Duramax. Everyone's price seems to be about the same. Dealer invoice minus rebates. Does anyone know if they can do anything better on the price of these trucks? I have gotten some incredible deals on the 1500 Chevy's over the years but hard to find one on the 2500 diesel. Does gm just not allow them to drop the price any lower? Or do they just know that they will sell it anyway?

If you want a smoking hot deal give Laura Buick GMC a call up in the edge of St Louis (Collinsville ) If you can find a 2018 probably would be a little better. Haven’t found any one close to a price like these guys!!!

I was searching for a new 2500 GMC Denali duramax. Laura GMC is close and best I could get from them was $59k. Another dealer had the same truck for $57k. For some reason the Chevy High Country was cheaper than the GMC Denali.Seems like each month the incentives change and you lose some depending on variables (ex you pay cash). Ended up buying a Yukon Denali!
I don't know where we are, but we are making darn good time.
Give it a few weeks the 2020's will be coming out and dealerships around here have plenty of 2019's. Chevrolet will be having some huge incentives on the 2019 if you can hold out that long.
Yes there is plenty of room to negotiate your out the door price. If your local dealer won’t do anything, it’s time to find another dealership. Let me know if you would like a contact for a NC dealership.

new 2020 has 10 speed allison with diesel and many more cameras. the 2020 also has a 6.6 gas motor avail.

I got mine for about 10k off asking price. I didn’t negotiate, drive it and told them what I’d spend and left. They called the same night telling me they agreed
What price did you pay? I too have been looking. Cos seem to be 57-60 for LTZ 2500 diesel
Mine was 57 even out the door, also ltz z71.
57 out the door. Very good. Few weeks ago they were asking 53-53 and then that rebate went away will watch close

2020 gmc looks very good unlike the chevy-just got the gmc magazine with an introduction to the new chassis 2500 article in it.

It's a 6.6 gas and the gas is mated to a 6 speed.
When the 2020 diesel comes out, and the trans proves reliable, the 19's will move a bit cheaper.
That could make me start looking.

I’m seeing 13 grand off around me on the 19s. I want to see how the new transmission is in the 2020. It’s an Allison by name only. GM built in house tranny that has licensed the Allison name
If you are willing to drive home try calling Dennis Dillon or Dave Smith dealerships in Idaho. They have been known to pay for flights in and can possibly save you thousands even with the cost of fuel driving back.
