    Fuel issues

Hey guys I have a 2012 618 with a 2017 175 ProXS, I posted my issue in the Mercury forum as well but I’m thinking it could be something else. My motor died every time I gave it throttle today and would only idle for 30 seconds or so before dying. The primer bulb stayed semi hard this entire time.
a friend of mine suggested it could be air in the line? I went out to the garage just now and took the gas cap off then put it back on and the bulb was completely limp after doing that?
Any ideas? It acts like it’s not getting gas or I got bad gas.

Possibly broken reed in compressor. Mercury had a recall on them.
