    I think it was a minimum account balance of $500 on etrade, but I can't remember for sure. You can buy as little as you want in one of them though. I run searches on TD Ameritrade to find the pennies normally. We've had some good info on this thread too. I just run a search, normally on heavy buy rated stocks and scroll through and look at the charts. If I find a penny that looks interesting on the chart, then I research it. I'm definitely not very good at it yet though

    TRNX is probably worth a look, at least to day trade. MTP may be a good option also if you guys haven't saw these.

    Anyone shorting estimates? AKS is reporting soon. I've wanted to get into it for a while, but haven't yet. I also was looking at CROX. It isn't a penny stock, but I think there is probably some money to be made on shorting it. Any thoughts on either of those?

    i alerted a buddy on aks back when it was first brought up. He entered that next morning and has done very well. He has more capital than I do or I would have played along lol.

    For some reason, I didn't buy after the earnings were released. Went with some others instead. Could have gotten in at $2.50. Oh well, I'm still watching it
