I own the Ardent culling ball culling tags and yesterday purchased the Smart clips that clip onto the existing clips. Has anyone used these and are they strong enough to hold onto the fish without slipping off while in the livewells?

I use the exact same setup. Never had a fish throw one off. I've had some REAL spunky fish in the livewell

I have the same setup. I got the clips and lost my first bass in 9 years, it holds their mouth too far open so they can't breath properly. The other 4 bass that were lively, the clips didn't hold and came out, making the culling system almost useless. I don't know about smaller bass but I usually average 3+ lbs on tournament fish. I'll never use them again.
