    Truck rear end drop

Currently I'm driving a 17 Ford F-150, towing a Nitro Z-19. When the boat is attached I get about a 4 inch drop, causing the rear to drop, and also causes the rear to bounce when driving bumpy roads. I've researched for aftermarket products to "Stop the Squat" and came up with these three products. I looking to see if any of you have tried any of these aftermarket products and get your opinion on what you have or opinions on which you consider the best option.

Sounds like you may have to much tongue weight. You should be around 400 lbs. or between 10 - 15% of the boat weight.

4” is a lot of drop! Have you measured it with a tape measure or is this a guess?

Of the products you listed the 2nd link, the helper springs are the most popular way around my parts.

Wow that seems like a lot. When I hook up my Ranger to my 2018 F150 it does not go down at all.

400 lbs shouldn't squat your truck 4", I would advise shifting boat back on trailer an inch or so. I'm with Danrude!

Same for dropping my Z21 Intracoastal Ranger on my 2018 F150.

You really should consider going to a certified scale and getting your truck weighed with and without the boat. Sounds as if your winch tower needs moved back slightly to give you the 10-15% tongue weight.

1/2 ton trucks are sprung like an old Crown Victoria, and they're not sprung for carrying heavy weights. But a 4" drop in height is too much.

My 3/4 ton truck with a 11,000 pound fifth wheel trailer doesn't even drop 4"--or squat at all. I've also got air bags on it to level it up.

One more thought...If you have a lift kit or leveling kit on your truck, all bets are off.
