For everybody has a lab how do you keep them in the boat when you’re fishing. I want to start taking my lab with me but he is a year and a half and I don’t think I can keep him in the boat. So what’s the trick

Putting a clown in the castle doesn't make him a king, it turns the castle into a circus

I've just about got my 1 year old "Birdie" not wanting to chase after every cast, I just have to say "No, my toy..." (Nein, Papas Spielzeug) Still gets antsy when I'm pulling fish in or when the airboats come by too close...

Also a lot of walking at the dog park every morning helps my back as I have stenosis as well as a bad neck. If I just sit it exacerbates the whole deal..

Lucky guy. I have really wanted a new dog/friend. But with the kids activities we are just too busy. Heck the whole family want a dog, but I am the one who has always had to take care of then. And it has always been my buddy. I just cant bring myself to get a new pup and not give them the te they deserve.
But I could really use the companionship bout now.

Should have a leash on at all times and enough room to move about the deck. When starting out they'll want to 'fetch' the cast. This is when You stand on that dog's leash. (I fish w/3 dogs)

The life vest is on Evven #7 because He is 98# and if He goes in I need to do a quick extraction (alligators)

He looks as solid as a tank. Sounds like you're happy. Enjoy your new buddy.
