    Lews Rod Blanks

    Has anyone figured out what blanks Lews uses?

    I really like the sensitivity but have had some issues with guides eating my line up.

    I'd bet they're just some "propriatary" overseas blanks. I haven't been overly impressed with the ones I've fixed. They seem real close to BPS rods at around the same pricepoint.

    If your only issue is the guides, then just strip them off and replace with whatever guides you want.
