As someone who recently had to fall
back on both ss3d and gen 3 software updates take it from me this can be found online but it requires specific search on google. Go to google and search “lowrance gen 3 7.0 update”. There will be items that pop up one of which is a link taking you directly to the release notes and option to download the software. Seems to be a workaround and it worked for me on ss3d and gen 3 unit falling back.
