SO, we drove up to Hall's marine to Check out the Vexus boats. I've never been to Hall's before but seemed like a great place with great folks running the place. The 1880 sold shortly after it showed up at the place and it left this morning with it's new owner. While he was ready to leave a young man showed up to purchase it and was somewhat disappointed that it sold but I believe he put his order in for the nex boat to arrive.

We looked the 1980 over and it's a great looking boat with excellent attention to detail. Fit and finish was nice just didn't care for the excess foam smeared all over the battery tray. They had an AVX189 there as well and the battery compartment was the same way. Small things but that was all really we could find with the boats so we were just being picky. Although we didnt water test the boats but while sitting in these boat you feel like your sitting quite high in the boat, Almost too high. It wasn't a bad thing just now what I'm used too.

All in all amazing boats and when you have them next to other aluminum boats, the difference stands out even more. Congrats to Hall's for picking up the Vexus line, they will be selling faster than they think!

Fishermans Central in Akron, Ohio is a Vexus dealer and they are doing test rides at the local Portage Lakes.
I think they have a couple 1980's now
Good opportunity to try one out
    They go by FC Marine

All boats are climbing up there IMO. Ranger had a boat at the classic that was a little over $100k

Almost every fiberglass boat manufacturer had at least one model at the bass master classic in that $90K to 100K range ...
