my skeeter has torsion axles. love them. Last boat had leafs and shocks. Liked it too. Little quieter and smoother than standard leafs. With torsion axles you dont get all that binding spring pressure while turning or backing
Not that much $$$. You'll spend more money in debating than it's worth and if you trailer a lot, itsa no brainer. I trailer little and got them.
