    Saltwater Question

What is the best rod and reel setup that doesn’t break the bank for Inlet fishing? The water is brackish and located in Murrells Inlet SC. I’ve never fished over there before so I’m looking to start

For redfish or equivalent up to 36" (15-20lb main line).

This is my typical inshore setup.

    Stradic or Stradic Ci4 3000
St Croix Triumph 6'6" or 7' medium

    Carry these for guests.

Penn Battle II combo. Very popular and great bang for your buck.
Heavier and less smooth but half the price so if they get trashed it's less painful.
