Lets see how they price it...if Lowrance wants to sell it they will need to be competitive $ wise with the others. Some will buy simple because they are Lowrance fan boys while others will buy simple because its the "new" thing on the block. I wanta see how it will function as a TM and with my Lowrance sonars.

As a few of you know I have tried Ghost for an hour or so and I really liked it. With both Garmin and MG launching new models next month, and me needing a new TM, I look forward to seeing all three in action.
Will Lowrance then be the only brand of sonar that has got more than one brand of compatible trolling motor to chose from?
How I wish they would have standard interface from trolling motor to sonar and no brand specific extras, would be so much better for competition on both sides and thus for the consumer.
I asked Jacob Scott about that while in Palma and he said they would still support MG and had no plans for changing that.

I'm hoping the final version has at least an optional quality HDI built in but even better would be a 3-in-1 3D Transducer(that produced good images) built in as an option. I did notice in the bulk of the video(s) there was no cable strapped to the split shaft. But in the final shot, when the trolling motor is being lifted/stowed, a cable tie-wrapped to the shaft is visible. That would not stop me from buying one. Might encourage me to buy one. But if you wanna promote "NEW" "GAME CHANGER" "re-engineered top to bottom" I'd hope they would come up with a way to eliminate that cable on the outside of the shaft - Kinna '90's looking. As far as the head goes - I could care less what it looks like. Long as it's easy to deploy/stow and doesn't eat batteries and they give me one for free.
