    Custom Rod Builders Near Raleigh

    Hey guys, I need some help.

    I am buying a rod as a ‘going away’ gift for a close friend of mine, and would like to have it personalized by writing his name and his gaining military unit on it. I wouldn’t mind doing it myself, but would rather pay someone experienced to do it.

    Anyone have any recommendations?

    Good choice but there is no shortage of custom rod builders close to Raleigh.

    I've been slowly transitioning my rod lineup over to JBs, and I've yet to found one I don't really like. Haven't had a chance to make it to the shop yet, but John has been a big help every time I've talked to him.

    John is an awesome guy! Just visited him last weekend...he has guided a lot of young men in the fishing/tournament scene including myself. He is a big supporter of the fishing universities in NC.

    Glad to hear you got up with him!
