Need Help - Rod Personalizing

Hey guys, I need some help.

I am buying a rod as ‘going away gift’ for a close friend of mine. I would like to personalize it by writing his name and gaining military unit. Are there any folks on here that are well versed in this? I wouldn’t mind doing it myself, but I would rather pay someone experienced in it to do it for me.

There are no custom rod builders in my area that I am aware of so I am in a tight spot.

Any recommendations?
