When I push pedal to turn one way or the other, the pedal will only turn the shaft so far but not all the way around. It seems to feel like it’s jammed up.
I tightened the cable underneath the pedal but it didn’t seem to help.
Any ideas what could be wrong with it. The motor is 2 years old
Either you have bent the upper shaft on the trolling motor, or the screws that hold the pinion have backed out causing a bind between the main shaft and the upper shaft.
