    Question Yamaha Props

I'm looking for a spare, and lower pitch, for summer use here in the sunny and humid south.
    My 2016 Puma has a 250 SHO with a SHO 26 pitch, T-1
BassCat has some used ones for sale.
What's the difference between what I have (above) and the below, other than the pitch of course?
    VMAX SHO M1 25P
    VMAX SHO T2 25P

I run a 27 tempest year around on my puma / sho combo . No complaints other than it runs a little flat mid range . Thats getting fixed this week . Hole shot is fantastic heavy loaded with two guys and full fuel in the summer heat .

The T2 props don’t have vent holes, same prop otherwise. The M series are more of an all around prop, little smaller diameter than the T’s with less blade area but they run very well on some hulls.

This.....have a 2017 Cougar with a 250 SHO. Swapped a T1 26 for a T2 25 for the warmer weather and it made a big difference in my hole shot.

Get a Turbo FXP as a spare. They are great and easier to get. Less expensive too. Turbo 8s owned by Yamaha as well.

The T and M are two totally different props... The M is best suited for 150-200 HP and smaller boats... The "T" works best on 200-300HP motors and bigger boats.

Thanks everyone, I am the proud owner (when it gets delivered from BassCat) of a T-2 25P.
