    RT188 Hubcap Issue

    I lost one of these over the weekend....it's just a flimsy piece of plastic. Must have shook the screw loose while trailering.

    Does the part that I lost serve any purpose, or is it purely cosmetic? I honestly rather just take the other one off too...it's junk.

    Purely cosmetic. I got a replacement from e-trailer, but it appears as if they don't have them anymore.
    2016 Ranger RT188, Yamaha 115 sho, dual console, 80# Ultrex, hotfoot, networked HB Solix 10 & Helix 9, Mega 360. Powertech NRS3 18p, Atlas 4" jack plate.

    Did the same thing on mine, it did
    not last but a few trips to the lake. Like the look without it better.

    One of mine broke the day I got home from the dealer. Ranger said they would send out a new one. I've been waiting almost eight months and it still hasn't arrived.

    I do not like these caps. I will be putting new wheels and tires on my 188 in a few weeks. Going 15" On that note I will have 3 of these wheels and tires for sale if anybody is interested. They are flawless and have the caps with them!

    They actually do look better, IMO, without the cheap plastic caps. Really puzzled about these trailers between those caps and the non-LED trailer lights, which I've since replaced.

    Can you do a post on what you buy and how they fit please. I've been wanting to go to a bigger wheel and tire.

    13/16 thin wall works best and you need a large phillips screwdriver to get to the lug nuts.

    Well, UPS delivered it today. It only took since mid November to arrive.
