    Thumbs Up Ultra 126 Pics........

Today was my first day to use my new Ultra 126.....AWESOME unit and couldnt be happier.....

I already have the GT15/GT30 setup on the boat so i did not install the GT54 and at this point, dont plan on it cause i use 2d for on plane readings and can connect the both to the same unit so for now, it will be the 15/30 combo. This river lake is pretty deep and has lots of dock and tree tops so was able to get a look at how the unit performs....

Just some random shots through out the morning.

Great images, Jeremy. I wouldn’t worry about using any other transducer

Nice looking images, I think they look really good and I see fish! I agree in that I don't see any need to try a different transducer. Good to hear your opinion of the new Ultra, I'm using mine just for Livescope and really liking it allot.

Wow... The imaging elements in the gt30 are the same as the gt50, right?
Makes me think I need to spend a little more time with the gt50.....

so do you think the new unit improves a transducers performance, or is it more a matter of higher screen resolution?

No expert but i'd say screen resolution.....while viewing pics on PC yesterday, i could zoom in on the pic and it would not get pixelated like it did with the 93.

Nice shots. Those higher resolution 12” screens sure make the GT30 stand out.

I have played with that also it shows the 93 Is low resolution and can’t produce what the 12 inch screens do

Just upgraded one of my MFDs to a 7612. Pretty noticeable difference with my GT30. 800khz seems to work much better on this unit also. My old 1040 I couldnt tell any difference between 455 and 800

Seems like maybe they need even more resolution on the displays to really make the UHD systems worth their while.

Anyone got anymore pics with the 126 and the GT30 or GT54? Looking to get as much info as possible before purchasing.
