    899si problem

    I’ve got an 899si that isn’t really showing side imaging anymore. DI and 2D work fine but the side imaging is basically like I’m driving over a flat the entire time. It shows the black area down the middle where the transducer doesn’t read, and it shows the black area if I get close to shore. Is this most likely a bad transducer? I went through the settings but I didn’t find anything that made a change

    Have you tried resetting defaults? The DI view is created from the SI crystals so if that is good then the SI should be also.

    I did reset the defaults. It didn’t change anything.
