I’m starting to get big chunks of this coating on my trailer falling off. Is this normal after 1-2 years ? So what’s the protocol, just spray bed liner stuff to repair ?

If it is less than 3 years old it is still under warranty, Call your dealer.

It should be under warranty. The biggest reason behind this happening is what is called white rust on the galvanizing and hasn’t been cleaned properly for adhesion

Ranger trailers with Road Armor are not galvanized steel jut plain steel.

I have the same thing happening. Noticed a big piece of road armor hanging off one of my axles last weekend. Mine is only a year old.

I had a few "Nicks" and used a Bed Liner spray on that I got at O'Reilly's. Make sure you wire brush the metal if there is any rust showing.
