Anyone have a recent st clair report??

Heading up the 26,27,28 of next week and just looking for a idea of what to expect as far as the bite is going. Not looking for any spots just a general idea of what the fish are doing. Thanks

They should be starting to transition to the summer spots soon but this year is behind. I still did well today in 7-12 fow. The mayfly hatch is in full force so look for slurpers.

It's been a strange year. We hammered em over in Canada, today was the opener. Don't have to deal with the pleasure boaters and it's simply much better fishing. If you know where Metro Park is the LM have been in close early in the AM and then shuts downs after 10:30. you can also fish off the point at metro and there are SM roaming. The bulk of the spawn is over.

PS hope you like fish flies. The stupid hatch starter and it won't be long before they are everywhere.

Was there last friday. Caught SM out from Metropark in 10 foot. 4" swimbaits and tubes. Went to the ramp near dark and caught a ton of LM on the bank. Great first time for me. The place is magical.

We got out yesterday and stayed in 14-17 feet. Everything shallow that we saw were dinks.
