HDS Live screen protector glare

So I put on the screen protectors before I ever hit the water, there is a ton of glare. I am curious if the screen w/out the protector is just as bad.

I had to take my screen protectors off because of the glare and no the screen without the protector does not have the amount of glare that the screen protectors produce.

You need to buy the Matt finish screen protectors. I bought them for an iPad then cut them down

Which brand do you have? Hopefully not RMP, as I just received a couple this week for the bow units!

Took mine off the glare was so bad.

Just with a blade and metal ruler, I bought cheap flebay ones for a tablet I think it was iPad, the largest I could get anyway, they were cheap and came in a 3 pack, they work ok but I’m maybe too fussy and can see the edges

Yes RMP....fantastic quality but can see a damn thing. My issue is mostly at the console when scanning. I can work around the glare at the bow plus my dog constantly steps on it so it will stay on the bow.
Coming off the consoles tonight.

I am currently using some of the "Tuff Protect" anti glare screen protectors, thus far... Glare does not seem to be much of an issue, but the "anti glare" has had a substantial impact on screen brightness and viewing angle.

Took the protectors off today. What a difference, glare is no longer an issue. Just sucks I had to eat $100 to find that out.
