This might be a silly question, but why doesnt the map on my solix move with my boat?? the boat moves on the map, but the map doesnt move, eventually my boat icon is not on the screen. Shouldnt it be like a car where the car moves on the map and the map moves with it?

You must have paused the display, push the Exit button (X) when that occurs.

I will have to try that because mine does the same thing and I move it manually.

The position icon stays in the middle of the Chart view and the Chart moves, IF you don't pause the map.

Does it work that way with the lakmaster card or the Solix maps.

It's a function of the unit not the charts. Touchscreens just more susceptible to it. Just exit out, and it should return to default setup.

if you scroll to look at something the map is frozen, you need to x out to get the boat centered of the map,

So it turns out you have to go Custom View on the Solix and change the Motion Mode when you are using a Lakemaster Card.
