No problem going over a lip. My door is at a slight incline then the lip and I have no problem getting a tandem axle trailer in there.

You got that right. When I bought my last house, the garage length was a top priority. Getting older and having to jocky my boat around was something that I took into consideration. I do still move my boat sometimes by hand if I want to put my truck in the garage as well, but I can just back the boat in straight and unhook it. If I really needed to, I would probably go ahead and spend the $1000 plus dollars and buy the battery powered dolly showed in the earlier thread. It is a heck a lot cheaper than hurting yourself moving a boat around.
You could always make your own trailer dolly like this guy.
I’m sure with a few mods you could customize it to your needs. Just search YouTube for DIY Trailer Dolly and you can get some ideas.
Good Luck

I didn’t really watch much of the video to see what was dangerous. My main point is a DIY dolly can be made with a little thought and some “engineering”. I know that I could could probably make one that would probably be stronger than the trailer itself and VERY SAFE. It’s just another option.

I have both, a Trailer Valet 5X and 2 GoJak 6200s for my 2011 Ranger Z519/Mercury 225 Optimax Pro XS 2-stroke/twin-axle trailer which on the trailer with the engine down and tongue swung open takes up 23'4" of floor space. That length includes an 8" Atlas Hydraulic Jack Plate. I could use 3 GoJaks but not 4 as the rear starboard side trailer wheel is too close to a 2.5" step in the concrete which would interfere with the 4th GoJak. So 2 GoJak 6200 on each of the front trailer wheels allows me to move the front of the boat into the front corner of the garage.
On occasion, I forget to put a block of wood on one of the trailer wheels and the boat moves too far forward into the front garage corner. That's when I need to use the Trailer Valet 5X with its mount on the outside of the trailer frame, to easily move the boat back and forth as needed. And thanks to the Trailer Valet 5X, I could probably fit a new Z520 or Z521 into my garage which is only 19'6" deep and 19' wide (inside dimensions).
For this old codger, having both the 2 GoJaks and the Trailer Valet 5X allows me to manage the location of my Z519 in that small garage.
