    21phx and 921 pro xp

All things aside, is it worth getting the Phx over the 921?

Really about the money and front deck layout. I prefer the 921 deck, but there’s tons of folks that like the PHX deck. Have you fished off both?

They are supposedly coming out with a 921 xp with a phx layout so that might be something to consider if your buying new.

I prefer the deck on the XP. Just seams too much of a reach in the huge center compartment on the PHX.
I can't speak for the PHX ride, but I have no problem on the Finger Lakes, Champlain, etc. on my XP. Dry and smooth. Honestly just blown away at how nasty looking stuff isn't nothing anymore.
Plus I fish the Upper Chesapeake/ Susquehanna Flatts and other shallow stuff and have no problem there too. Perhaps the deeper hull of the PHX might not be good on places like that.

I've had to 74.3. Loaded. I think it could go faster. It did take some time learning to drive it though. And I'm not all about speed. A hellava lot different than a Ranger.

921 if it was me. I like having two compartments instead of one large one.
