    Javelin Gurus....step inside.

Why is the 2001 Javelin 19sc weigh 1020 lbs more than the previous year and post year? the 2001 20sc is 670 lbs over the previous year. what did they change that added so much weight?

I would say he is getting his information from a source with wrong information.

The largest model Javelin ever made was not a 1000 pounds heavier than the smallest Javelin ever made. I will also add that I very seriously doubt that one particular model gained 670 pounds in one year.

Here is the specifications for a 2000 model Javelin 19 SC. I could not find 2001 specifications but I highly doubt a 2001 Javelin 19 SC weighs 1020 pounds more. That would be 2580 pounds...That would make a 21 ft Ranger look skinny...https://web.archive.org/web/20000606...asp?BOAT_ID=78

From 2000 to 2001 there were no changes. Iboats is wrong. I'd get out my 2000 brochure but I think we can rely on JR19 on this, for once. :)
