Iphone and Echomap 93 sv+

Hello, I need a little help. I am going to get a new smart phone and was wondering if there is any real advantage of the Iphone over the android phone as far as what they are capable of, such as video or screen mirroring? I have an android now and have been less than successful with doing anything meaningful after connecting to the 93sv+. Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

With the 93+ units, there is NO mirroring so iPhone or Droid dont matter.....only thing is with the AC app....i'm running a Galaxy S9 and really no trouble connecting to unit for updates, synching and notifications.

Doesn't matter on that but if you go into more advanced Garmin products the Android seems to get along better than the Iphone.

Like it.....dont like Iphones......always had Samsung, no issues....

My iphone works perfectly with AC & my Em+93sv.

Did they just release a new software update on 6/19? If so, does it allow mirroring?

Yes for the AC app there was an update. There was no screen mirroring for the Plus units but they did add recording for Routes thru the app.
