Ive seen a video of this company delivering sheds. They had 3 on a flatbed trailer. The one they needed to unload was on the front. They unloaded all three, placed the new building with a ride-on mini fork lift and two dolleys, re loaded the other two and were finished in under 15 minutes. It was amazing. Im sure I stumbled across it on YouTube.

Not sure I understand the width limit you guys are talking about for the roads. They haul stuff down our roads, that are as wide as the road. I have had to pull off on a side road before to let them pass.

You did upgrade the door to a wider size, right?

[QUOTE=BP in ME;10351048]+1 on the door size. They offer a 9'? I didn't see it listed.

Have you discussed this stuff with the sales rep? I was a shed/garage/cam salesman for several years. Laying out different options and solving problems was half of my job description. Making sure the garage stays flat and level is critical to your happiness with the end result. It could also impact the warranty on the building.

hey thanks i did upgrade to a 10 x 8 its not liste but he said they can accomidate any size door. i laid out a rock pad 3 inches deep per salesmans reccomendations and i leveled out the rock pad used 3/4 in stone.
You can PM me if you want to bounce ideas around but the shed co. should be a good source too

I would create a level foundation for it, if that is the best place for it. For 1 foot I would even consider pouring a slab for it to sit on.

A mistake on your part does not constitute a emergency on my part.

Don't worry about your water line. It is deep enough that the truck wouldn't hurt it. I had a shed delivered 1-1/2 ago. The guys at GOOD'S Structures in Elkton use an awesome set up to place the shed. They roll the shed off the trailer onto a set of dollies on the rear and used a two wheeled lift to raise/drive/ push / steer the shed right to where you want it. The delivery truck and trailer stayed right in the street.
