Several examples of the L boats being slower regardless of what the Ranger promotional staff boat buyers will fess up to.
New 520L Ranger Cup boat configuration now. The price gap has been reduced to ~$3500 on Cup Boats (L & C) when configured the same with a lot of the options. Probably a function of a significant increase on the C Cup boat and a smaller annual increase on the L. BUT - check your dealer and the web site.
I would go 520L if going Ranger
I went from a C to an L and the biggest difference to me is a noticeably drier ride. The wet ride was one of my biggest complaints on the C boat and they have done a great job of addressing it on the L.......
