I only bid snipe on ebay....

Its a great way not to get in a bidding war with someone, let them think they got it and in the last 10 seconds bid it up.

Its called an auction for a reason. Place your max bid, if you get outbid, you werent gonna pay that amount anyways. Whats the big deal? Or, you can just select buy it now.

Sometimes I think with all the time and energy used to try a get a deal on something like a bait on eBay it would be easier just to buy it from a retailer or wait for a sale. The aggravation doesn't seem worth the savings.

I start my bidding with 5 seconds left.

I wait until 3 seconds before placing a bid. It's not worth bidding on if you aren't willing to wait until the last second.

Exactly why I only use the "Buy it now" option when using eBay. I either want the item and buy it for the price listed, or don't want it bad enough to buy it for that price. Either way, I don't mess with the auction option at all, that's just me.

I usually look for the cheapest “buy it now” item that I’m trying to find. You can usually find brand new stuff on eBay with free shipping cheaper than most retail stores. On the auctions if you’re u’re Not there bidding at the end it’s never a sure thing...

I got tired of getting sniped. Now I just put in my max bid and don’t worry about it. Actually started winning more that way. And if I get outbid I just don’t worry about it. Move on to the next item.
