    2001 Yamaha HPDI New Power Head

    Need some help in making decision, I had the powerhead in the engine replaced after it blew a hole in the block.
    When I went to pick it up from shop it would not start, everything checked out except HPDI which substantial low pressure.
    I'm 6k down looking at new or used fuel injection pump 400.00 used 1600 new and they said if this is not the issue it could be the injectors.
    I feel I don't have choice other than but to get it started? Looking best deal on good used or new pump and should be asking any other questions?
    Shop said it was probably the pump of and injector that caused the piston to go.

    Uhhhh, the shop should have went through the complete fuel system with a new powerhead. The fuel system is the main culprit in why they fail. I personally would have MAJOR issues with a shop that did that. Hard to believe the fuel system went unchecked. Totally incompetent. CJ

    I have not used them, but heard good things... and they clean/rebuild high pressure fuel pumps from what the site shows.. check it out.. https://www.injectorrx.com/

    Just talk to shop they still stuck on getting motor up and running, sent injectors out and changed filters (mystery) I think.
    Anybody been down this rabbit hole before?

    Got the boat back yesterday �������������� took it for water test and seems like we are back in the game. Boat planed at 3200 rpms with half tank empty wells and 2 people. Ran it at 25 mph on and off for about an hour. I want run non ethanol but closest station is about an hour ride.

    The injector driver was the issue, just came back off the water and finished off last of the double oil mixture.
