ZX202c pump out

There are two separate switches marked pump out. Flip switch, red light comes on and can hear pump running.

But I can't figure out what it does. Put water in both livewell and turn the switchs to on and nothing comes out of livewell. I'm doing this in driveway , and I'm stuck.

Switchs he's on drivers side of boat. Everything else seems to be in good working order.

I don't think that was a stock option. It may have the aftermarket option where you have to pull the valve head out to trigger the pump out. If it does have a separate pump, you may to change the pump selection(recirc, auto, etc.). Hard to tell without looking at it. Post pics of your livewell inside where the water comes in, the livewell selector, and switches and maybe that will help.
